Let’s dissect this mission statement in terms of what it takes to fulfill it.
The approach of BirdTraffic, and indeed its name, is based on the belief that there are four cornerstones to financial planning & analysis (FPA). Providing complete service generally means covering the four. They are Guidance, Data Handling, Display and Influence.
To help keep this principle in full view, and to enable discussions of it, each cornerstone was assigned a code name, that of a familiar bird. These were Owl, Crow, Eagle and Hawk respectively.

A Financial Charter will require the setting of guidelines for each of the three goals areas: Profit, Cash and Equity. They need to have time periods associated with them - for example quarterly goals for two years or annual goals form two years. A single result measure could work, or a cluster of results measure on the same issue.
