Pace Car is a Financial Planning & Analysis service which can serve either as your primary or supplemental arm for planning and control. Pace Car specializes in serving independent wholesale and distribution businesses. The service is delivered using PACE software and personal advisory.
In the field of FP&A, we see a disconnect between Goal Setting and Result Influencing - plenty of Goal Setting and not so much Result Influencing. We have designed an FP&A service that installs a direct connection between the two - with CPA advisory and a controlled cost.
To provide the “set the course” service, Pace Car offers its Path Manager module. Guided by the PACE Charter method for projecting the best path, PaceWorks system is able to update and recalculate scenarios and provide Path Manager with its intel.
PACE stands for Profit, Assets, Cash and Equity, The PACE Charter is a combination of factors that guide at the top and fan out to expand that guidance.
The Pace Car service helps you set goals that quantify their guidance in a way that will also be there to quantify off-course results and provide gap-closing solutions.
To accomplish this, we have designed the service to run two service tracks jointly.
One, with a theme of “set the course” maintains at all times the current best course over your planning horizon, kept in the same detail as your financial statements.
The other, with a theme of “stay the course” picks up the off-course activity and works to explain performance and frame the problem solving so that the gap is closed.
To provide the “stay the course” service, Pace Car offers its Gap Manager module. The PaceWorks system is able to perform variance analysis in bulk, for historical and forward periods. Then it flags material variances and produces relevant detail that explains causes,
Lastly, it suggests gap-closing solutions for you to follow or build upon. This is the “influence” component that fulfills our mission.
